Finan­cial per­for­mance at a glance

The CEIH pre­pared finan­cial state­ments based on Tier 2 require­ments (com­mon­ly known as reduced dis­clo­sure require­ments), fol­low­ing the Depart­ment of Trea­sury and Finance’s approval to apply Tier 2 (in line with AASB 1053 Appli­ca­tion of Tiers of Aus­tralian Account­ing Stan­dards). The Aus­tralian Account­ing Stan­dards Board imple­ment­ed Tier 2 report­ing require­ments to sub­stan­tial­ly reduce the dis­clo­sure bur­den of many small to medi­um size Aus­tralian enti­ties when prepar­ing gen­er­al pur­pose finan­cial reports, ensur­ing these enti­ties finan­cial state­ments are rel­e­vant to and meet user­s’ needs.

The fol­low­ing is a brief sum­ma­ry of the CEIH’s over­all finan­cial posi­tion. The infor­ma­tion is unau­dit­ed. Full audit­ed finan­cial state­ments for 2019 – 20 are attached to this report. The 2019 – 20 finan­cial state­ments reflect the first time adop­tion of the Leas­ing Stan­dard (AASB 16) and Rev­enue Stan­dards (AASB 15 and AASB 1058).
