About the Lived Experience Leadership Group
The CEIH Lived Experience Leadership Group, formerly known as the Community of Consumers, brings together people with diverse lived experience of the health system to help shape how care is planned, designed and delivered across the CEIH’s programs and initiatives in South Australia.
The group provides a space for people with lived experience, carers and the community to connect, share insights and contribute to the CEIH’s program of work, helping to inform broader health system improvement.
Purpose
The overarching purpose of the group is to:
- provide a stronger voice for people with lived experience, carers and the community in the work of the CEIH and other health organisations
- strengthen connections between lived experience partners, networks and other partners
- support capability building and shared learning for members.
Membership
The group includes lived experience partners from the CEIH’s 12 Statewide Clinical Networks, three Priority Focus Areas and the South Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network.
The group may engage with lived experience partners from other CEIH networks, projects and partnerships.
