The Com­mis­sion on Excel­lence and Inno­va­tion in Health (CEIH) helps turn ideas into real-world health­care solu­tions that improve out­comes for South Australians.

We sup­port clin­i­cians, researchers, indus­try and com­mu­ni­ty part­ners to devel­op and imple­ment new ideas, prod­ucts and tech­nolo­gies across the health­care continuum.

We pro­vide prac­ti­cal tools, expert guid­ance and oppor­tu­ni­ties to guide inno­va­tors in pro­gress­ing their work.

Our approach to innovation

The CEIH Inno­va­tion Mod­el is at the cen­tre of our approach.

The mod­el helps indi­vid­u­als, teams and organ­i­sa­tions devel­op, assess and progress ideas from con­cept to implementation.

It can be used by any­one look­ing to improve health­care, includ­ing peo­ple work­ing in the pub­lic and pri­vate sectors.

Our inno­va­tion port­fo­lio sup­ports inno­va­tors at dif­fer­ent stages of this jour­ney – from build­ing a cul­ture of inno­va­tion, to devel­op­ing and imple­ment­ing ideas and con­nect­ing with oth­er inno­va­tors across the health system.
