Dr Sal­ly Johns is a high­ly respect­ed geri­a­tri­cian and Senior Staff Spe­cial­ist with the North­ern Ade­laide Local Health Net­work, with exten­sive expe­ri­ence across the full spec­trum of demen­tia care. She also works with region­al part­ners through reg­u­lar clin­ics in the Yorke and North­ern Local Health Net­work. Sal­ly has held senior clin­i­cal lead­er­ship roles and is recog­nised for her com­mit­ment to improv­ing out­comes for peo­ple liv­ing with demen­tia and their families. 

Sal­ly is active­ly involved in demen­tia research and clin­i­cal tri­als, work­ing with lead­ing organ­i­sa­tions includ­ing Demen­tia Tri­als Aus­tralia, SAHM­RI, Flinders Uni­ver­si­ty and Ade­laide Uni­ver­si­ty. She is also a ded­i­cat­ed edu­ca­tor, men­tor­ing health pro­fes­sion­als and sup­port­ing demen­tia aware­ness in both clin­i­cal and com­mu­ni­ty settings. 

Sal­ly brings a strong track record of col­lab­o­ra­tion, gov­er­nance and inno­va­tion, with exten­sive expe­ri­ence lead­ing mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary ini­tia­tives focused on qual­i­ty, safe­ty and evi­dence-based care. Her pas­sion for advanc­ing demen­tia ser­vices and sup­port­ing con­sumers across South Aus­tralia makes her a val­ued leader in the field.
