About the inno­va­tion model

The CEIH Inno­va­tion Mod­el is an evi­dence-based approach to inno­va­tion that helps solve health­care chal­lenges by devel­op­ing ideas into sus­tain­able solutions.

The mod­el pro­vides a prac­ti­cal path­way to help you devel­op, test and imple­ment ideas.

It con­sists of four stages:

1. Stage 1: Ideate and collaborate
2. Stage 2: Design and develop
3. Stage 3: Pro­duce and propel
4. Stage 4: Scale and sustain

The mod­el can be used at any stage of the inno­va­tion journey.

Who can use the model

Any­one look­ing to improve health­care can use the mod­el, whether they are devel­op­ing a new idea or refin­ing an exist­ing solution. 

This includes peo­ple work­ing across dif­fer­ent sec­tors, such as gov­ern­ment, indus­try and academia.
