Today the CEIH Statewide Patient Reported Measures (PRMs) Program formally closes.
The PRMs program was established to enable the delivery of patients’ perspectives of their own health and wellbeing, and experiences of health care, with data made available in real time to support clinician and consumer decision-making. As of 30 June 2025, LHNs will take on implementing core functions of this program at a local level with the CEIH program closing.
Firstly, we would like to give a special thanks to the tens of thousands of people across 7 (seven) Local Health Networks who took the time to share their experience of hospital care. Your voice is essential, providing critical feedback on your healthcare experiences, creating meaningful data that informed patient care.
Secondly, thanks to all the clinicians, researchers, partners and stakeholders who have been a part of this program’s evolution. Without your commitment to patient centred care this program would not have happened.
Thirdly, a special call out to Health Translation SA who partnered with us to deliver the PRMs Research Collaboration. Putting patients and patient voices at the centre is critical to delivering a patient centred healthcare system.
Finally, CEIH also wishes to provide a heartfelt shout out of thanks, well done and best wishes to all the wonderful members of the CEIH PRMs Implementation Team who have led this program with a commitment and vision to enabling a healthcare system that can deliver truly patient centred care. All of you have made a unique and special commitment to improving healthcare and the work you delivered provides a foundation stone and legacy for the future.
