About the Community of Consumers
The CEIH Community of Consumers brings together people with diverse lived experience of the health system to help shape how care is planned, designed and delivered across the CEIH’s programs and initiatives in South Australia.
The group provides a space for consumers, carers and the community to connect, share insights and contribute to the CEIH’s program of work, helping to inform broader health system improvement.
Purpose
The overarching purpose of the group is to:
- provide a stronger voice for consumers, carers and the community in the work of the CEIH and other health organisations
- strengthen connections between consumer representatives, networks and partners
- support capability building and shared learning for members.
Membership
The group includes consumer representatives from the CEIH’s 12 Statewide Clinical Networks, three Priority Focus Areas and the South Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network.
It may also include consumers from other CEIH networks, projects and partnerships.
