We’ve partnered with the Department for Health and Wellbeing’s Allied and Scientific Health Office (ASHO) to launch the first ever Allied Health Innovation Challenge in South Australia. A chance for every SA Health employee to contribute their ideas for a future-focused healthcare that prioritises improved consumer outcomes.
Imagine:
- Reducing wait times for mental health services through innovative telehealth solutions.
- Empowering Aboriginal communities with culturally responsive and integrated allied health care.
- Streamlining access and service flow to achieve prompter and more accessible health services.
The Innovation Challenge invites all SA Health staff to share their ideas focusing on how allied health advanced clinical practice workforce-based solutions can positively impact consumer experience and drive improvement in healthcare.
The challenge is open for submissions until March 8th, 2024, and winners will be awarded across five categories focusing on innovation and excellence in:
- Access and service and system flow.
- Improving the interface with integrated and preventative care.
- Allied health care delivery.
- Mental healthcare.
- Aboriginal healthcare.
Using their SA Health logon, participants can submit their entries via the CEIH’s digital platform ‘Frank’, purposefully designed for collaborative ideation to facilitate innovation within the healthcare system. Shortlisted entries will be showcased at the inaugural Allied Health Advanced Clinical Practice Symposium to senior leaders across SA Health. The challenge will also help guide the implementation of the SA Health Allied Health Advanced Clinical Practice Statewide Framework.
