About the network
The Perinatal Statewide Clinical Network (SCN) provides statewide clinical leadership, advice and collaboration across perinatal health care services.
The network brings together clinicians, consumers and health partners from across the state to help shape priorities, strengthen quality and safety and support system-wide improvement.
The establishment of the Perinatal SCN completes the transition of the Maternal, Neonatal, and Gynaecology Strategic Executive Leadership Committee and the Maternal, Neonatal, and Gynaecology Communities of Practice, to the CEIH Statewide Clinical Network Model.
Why this matters
Care before, during and after pregnancy plays an important role in the lifelong health and wellbeing for women, babies and families.
Strong coordination across services supports equitable, effective and inclusive perinatal care, improving outcomes for families across South Australia.
