

This community forum celebrates the role of art in Palliative & End-of-Life care, honouring the legacy of Kathryn Hourigan — a passionate consumer advocate, the consumer co-lead for the Palliative Care Statewide Clinical Network and artist.
Inspired by the successful 2024 Artist in Residence project at Flinders Medical Centre’s Laurel Hospice, this event will bring together community members, healthcare providers, and artists to explore how creative expression can support healing, reflection, and connection at the end of life.

- A captivating presentation by artist Daniel Connell, whose work draws on stories from his residency with the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network Palliative Care services
