In this presentation Wellbeing SA's Jeanette Walters, Executive Director, Integrated Care Systems and Ryan Lovett, Program Lead, Hospital Community Integration, discuss how the community consistently reports that they would prefer to receive their health care in the community, where safe and appropriate to do so.
Wellbeing SA has developed a range of such services including Priority Care Centres and My Home Hospital. A key factor in each of these services has been understanding the consumer perspective, such as what is important to people when inviting staff into their homes to deliver care.
