At the CEIH, we continue to collaborate and partner with the healthcare system on building sustainable workforce systems to strengthen workplace wellbeing. We know people are critical to the effectiveness and sustainability of our healthcare system and, ultimately, our patient outcomes. To deliver on our vision of improving the healthcare system we have made workforce sustainability one of the pillars of our Strategic Directions.
Our nurses and midwives are a critical workforce to our healthcare system. The opportunity for CEIH to contribute to the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch)’s Workplace Culture and Safety Workshop on 8 November 2024 was one we couldn’t miss.
Our Executive Director, Consumer and Clinical Partnerships, Katie Billing, spoke about the impact of positive workplace culture on creating better experiences and outcomes for everyone and the work the CEIH is leading across our health system to influence change.
Isla Woidt and Jodie Bowman from our Workplace Wellbeing Partnerships team shared their insights on establishing the foundational structures and processes necessary to optimise workplace wellbeing and team effectiveness. This included a discussion on the impact of good work design and the role we can all play in creating excellence in workplace wellbeing and culture.
