It’s official! We've signed a 3 year partnership agreement with Caring Futures Institute

After suc­cess­ful­ly col­lab­o­rat­ing with The Car­ing Futures Insti­tute (CFI) in 2023 for the Can­cer Nav­i­ga­tion Project, we are excit­ed to announce a three-year part­ner­ship with the insti­tute, solid­i­fy­ing our com­mit­ment to trans­form­ing the South Aus­tralian health sys­tem. This joint ven­ture lever­ages the strengths of both organ­i­sa­tions to dri­ve tan­gi­ble improve­ments in areas cru­cial to patient care and sys­tem efficiency. 

CFI is Australia’s first ful­ly ded­i­cat­ed research cen­tre for self-care and car­ing solu­tions and brings excep­tion­al research exper­tise to the table. CEIH, with its ded­i­cat­ed focus on sys­tem lead­er­ship to dri­ve tan­gi­ble change across the health sys­tem, pro­vides a pow­er­ful plat­form for trans­lat­ing research into real-world action. 

Togeth­er, our focus areas will include sup­port­ing a learn­ing health sys­tem, enhanc­ing clin­i­cal lead­er­ship and improv­ing health sys­tem navigation.

This for­mal part­ner­ship is built on a strong foun­da­tion of shared vision, val­ues, and goals. A com­pre­hen­sive agree­ment out­lines spe­cif­ic objec­tives and deliv­er­ables, ensur­ing a focused and impact­ful collaboration.

Our Com­mis­sion­er, Prof. Kei­th McNeil and CFI incom­ing Direc­tor Prof. Rebec­ca Gol­ley expressed their enthu­si­asm for this ven­ture. They empha­sised the shared val­ues of patient-cen­tered care, con­tin­u­ous improve­ment, and col­lab­o­ra­tive inno­va­tion that fuel this pow­er­ful partnership.

We believe that by unit­ing our strengths, we can achieve much more than either organ­i­sa­tion could alone. This part­ner­ship marks a sig­nif­i­cant step for­ward in our col­lec­tive pur­suit of a health­i­er, more effi­cient, and patient-cen­tered health­care sys­tem for all South Australians.
