The Cardiac Care Statewide Clinical Network’s vision is to ensure all South Australians living with or at risk of cardiovascular disease can access high quality care and services to achieve the best outcomes for themselves, their families and the community as a whole.
Statewide Clinical Networks (SCNs) are an important engagement structure to connect clinical experts, consumers, and other collaborators on agreed priorities to improve the South Australian health system.
We are committed to providing the opportunity for consumers of cardiac services to share their voices and experiences to help drive the planning and delivery of healthcare services and improve health outcomes for South Australians.
We are looking for people with lived experience of cardiovascular disease as a consumer (patient), carer/support person or community member who:
- are passionate about improving cardiac care, patient experiences and support for their families
- can communicate effectively, work well in a team and are good problem solvers
- are available to participate in activities of the Steering Committee, including face to face meetings, working groups and some work conducted between meetings.
All applications will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified of the outcome. Membership will be constructed to reflect the necessary mix of knowledge, experience and skills to support the Cardiac Care Statewide Clinical Network to fulfil its responsibilities.
Applications close Friday, 28 February 2025.
