The Palliative Care Statewide Clinical Network is driven to improve care for consumers, families, carers, and loved ones during their last year of life and end-of-life. This is achieved through active collaboration, networking, and co-design.
Statewide Clinical Networks are an important statewide engagement structure to connect clinical experts, consumers, and other collaborators on agreed priorities to improve the South Australian health system. It is very important to involve, include, communicate, and understand the South Australian communities and clinicians voice and thoughts on this area of healthcare.
We are seeking applicants who:
- are passionate about improving palliative care and experiences for patients, their families, loved ones, and care givers.
- provide leadership within the health system both clinically, organisationally, and consumer focused across all sectors.
- assist in the analysis of current and projected service demand across all aspects of service delivery.
- assist in addressing clinical variation and improvements.
- can communicate effectively, work well in a team and are good problem solvers.
- are available to participate in activities of the Steering Committee, including face to face meetings, working groups and some work conducted between meetings.
All applications will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified of the outcome. Membership will be constructed to reflect the necessary mix of knowledge, experience and skills to support the Statewide Cardiac Care Clinical Network to fulfil its responsibilities.
Applications close Friday, 11 April 2025.
