The Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH) is inviting expressions of interest for a Clinical Lead and network members, including clinicians, subject matter experts and consumers with expertise or lived experience, to join the Dementia Care Statewide Clinical Network.
What is an SCN?
Statewide Clinical Networks (SCNs) are central to advancing clinical excellence and collaboration across South Australia’s health system.
SCNs bring together health professionals, consumers and other experts to lead change, solve complex problems and improve outcomes in specific areas of healthcare. Their work extends across the state and beyond SA Health.
About the Dementia Care SCN
The Dementia Care SCN is being established to advance the safety and quality of care for South Australians living with dementia.
The network will bring together clinicians, consumers and subject matter experts to collaborate, share best practice and develop system-wide solutions to improve dementia care.
It will support a person- and carer-centred approach and help reduce unwarranted clinical variation in care and avoidable hospital presentations.
