19 Aug 2024

Healthcare is complex and tackling its challenges alone is futile! If we want to achieve better, sustainable healthcare outcomes for all South Australians, we need to embrace collaborative action and partnership.

Monica Novick, Director, Partnerships Program, and Justin Chai, Project Manager, Partnerships Program, from the CEIH had the privilege of delivering a workshop on Strengthening Partnerships Across the Health Sector’ at the People Leaders Development Series’ for managers from the SA Department for Health and Wellbeing. Attendees participated in engaging discussions on:

  • the importance of partnerships in achieving outcomes in a complex system
  • the various forms of partnerships across a continuum
  • barriers and enablers to quality partnerships
  • methodology of applying principles of partnership development process into practice
  • the importance of partnership strategy and evaluation.

The delivery of this workshop was a capability-building initiative aimed at equipping people with skills, knowledge and mindsets to promote quality collaborative action and partnership in the health sector.
