We’ve launched South Australia’s Pain Research and Innovation Hub to enable the pain community to collaborate to improve care

25 Sept 2023

Our Chronic Pain Statewide Clinical Network (SCN), in collaboration with the South Australian pain community, recently launched South Australia’s Pain Research and Innovation Hub.

The Hub is a simple online platform that connects people working on pain-related research and innovation. It also provides a way to see current and previous projects, learn about the key issues, the projects others are trying to solve, the expected outcomes and estimated timelines.

The Hub aims to increase collaboration, break down silos and reduce duplicated effort in pain research and innovation. This will help to accelerate the discovery and development of new and more effective treatments for pain, ultimately improving the care of people with pain in South Australia. It’s open to everyone in South Australia who is working on, or interested in, pain related research and innovation.

The Hub was made possible thanks to the contributions of many people, including researchers, clinicians, patients, and community members. We would like to thank everyone who has helped to make the Hub a reality.

For more information, to connect with others or add your project to the Hub, see South Australia’s Pain Research & Innovation Hub.
