We are excited to share that Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network has been selected as a finalist in the Australian Workplace Health & Safety Awards 2024 in the category of Best WHS Health & Wellbeing Program Award for ‘Fostering a psychologically healthy and safe workplace’.
Throughout 2022 and early 2023, CEIH partnered with BHFLHN to focus on workplace wellbeing culture within their network, with a particular focus on better utilising data and measurement to understand key drivers of wellbeing and workplace psychological risk. CEIH was pleased to support BHFLHN to participate in an innovative national, cross-sector pilot program with FlourishDx which aimed to identify workplace psychosocial risks, guide the development of interventions, and embed a continuous quality improvement framework to review the efficacy of interventions implemented. In addition to the implementation of the FlourishDx platform, BHFLHN has put considerable effort into developing a systematic and integrated approach to the identification and management of psychosocial risk across their Network by working closely with their staff. Feedback from the Australian Institute of Health and Safety award judges commented on BHFLHN’s “comprehensive, data-driven approach to managing psychosocial risks through the innovative use of the FlourishDx platform. This program excels in leveraging technology to provide continuous, scalable assessment and proactive intervention. The strong alignment with organizational goals, clear implementation strategy, and measurable impact demonstrate its effectiveness. The emphasis on empowering employees and ensuring high participation rates further highlights its commitment to creating a psychologically healthy and safe workplace.”
Congratulations to the BHFLHN team on this wonderful achievement!
